Zobia Trust truly believes that every disabled child, no matter what challenges they face, should have the chance to grow, learn, and live happily. Sadly, there are lots of children with disabilities who don’t get the support they need to show just how amazing they really are. They’re not held back by their abilities, but by the lack of help and resources. When you sponsor a disabled child through Zobia Trust, you are not just offering support, you are giving them a real chance at a brighter future.
Currently, Zobia Trust’s child sponsorship azad kashmir is supporting over 200 children with disabilities across specially adapted schools in Mirpur. With a dedicated team of 38 staff members maintaining a close 3:1 staff-to-child ratio, each child receives tailored care, therapies, and attention to meet their unique needs
That’s where our Ability Sponsorship programme comes in. It’s all about giving kids the therapies, education, and care they need to feel more confident, learn new things, and become more independent.
In underprivileged communities, families of children with disabilities often face financial hardship, making it impossible to afford ongoing care. Many live far from specialised therapy centres, while others have never had access to professional support.
Zobia Trust works to remove these barriers, delivering consistent therapy sessions and essential resources directly to those in need. We also extend support beyond the classroom by empowering families at home with tools and strategies to continue care
With your sponsorship, children who were once left behind can now progress, learn, and achieve milestones once thought impossible.
Your support can make a real difference in the lives of children with disabilities by support disabled children education. With your sponsorship, Zobia Trust will provide vital services like Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Behaviour Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Parent Counselling.
These therapies are made just for each child’s needs, helping them with things like moving around, speaking, socialising, and learning important life skills.
By focusing on both their physical and developmental needs, we give every child the tools to live a fuller, more independent life. Already, 5 children supported by Zobia Trust have progressed to further education, and many proudly represented the school in Special Olympics events
Note: We use your donations to help every child equally or those who need it most, providing the right therapy, learning, and care they need to grow, thrive, and have a brighter future.
Your sponsor a disabled child is more than a donation, it is a lifeline for disabled children. With your support, children with disabilities can take their first steps, speak their first words, or master a new skill that transforms their future. These moments are life-changing not just for the child, but for their entire family.
The impact of your contribution goes far beyond the present. With continuous support, children build skills that last a lifetime, helping them succeed in school, secure future opportunities, and live more fulfilling lives. Your sponsorship ensures that progress doesn’t stop at temporary solutions but leads to lasting change.
Caring for a child with disabilities can be overwhelming for families who have a lack of resources. By donate for ability sponsorship, you not only change the life of one child but also bring relief and hope to their entire household. Parents receive guidance, siblings feel supported, and communities grow stronger when every child is included and valued Community events such as awareness walks, Disabled Day celebrations, and fun days out bring joy, inclusion, and shared memories for children and their families
Every child deserves the chance to feel confident and capable. Through our Ability Sponsorship, disabled children receive more than just therapies; they help them unlock their full potential, explore new skills, and develop the independence that will carry them into adulthood.
Whether it’s learning to communicate, building friendships, or achieving academic goals, your support empowers them to thrive.
