Understanding Zakat: A Sacred Duty in Islam
Zakat is more than just a charity, it is one of the 5 pillars of Islam that purifies wealth and uplifts communities in need. By fulfilling this sacred obligation, you help us bridge the gap between rich and poor and bring hope to those who face hardships and disabilities.
Every eligible Muslim must pay Zakat once a year to clarify their income and wealth. Your Zakat transforms lives by providing food, medical aid, education, and dignity to the disabled children.

The Impact of Your Zakat Donation
At Zobia Trust, we ensure your Zakat reaches the most deserving children with disabilities.
These disabled children go through very hard times. Many are isolated, unable to attend school, or access the care they desperately need. Their families struggle daily to meet even the most basic needs of these children.
With your 2.5% Zakat, we empower them to learn, grow, and live with confidence. Your support brings smiles to faces that once felt forgotten. When you give Zakat online, you directly help change someone’s life for the better.
Who Receives Your Zakat?

What is Nisab?
Nisab is the minimum amount of wealth a Muslim must have before Zakat becomes obligatory. It ensures that only those who can afford to give, do so, fairly and responsibly.
Nisab is based on the value of gold or silver:
- 87.48 grams of gold or
- 612.36 grams of silver
Each year, the Nisab is calculated based on the current value of gold or silver. Knowing your Nisab means you can fulfil your Zakat correctly and help more people in need.
